Welcome Back to the Nansletter

Happy fall, y'all! Apple season is in full swing and we've been loving the crisp New England fall weather. This is going to be our first fall here in Stow, and we just can't wait. There's something beautiful in every season, but sometimes we think fall is our extra favorite. The colors that Mother Nature displays, the warm fragrant smells coming from the kitchen, and the cozy knits and textures we all find ourselves wearing during these months. Here are the Nan's fall essentials...and a little glimpse into our fall drink menu (coming soon).

Nan’s Fall Favorites

Here are some of Nan's fall favorites:
1. My Grandma's New England Pumpkin Spice Mini Coffee Cakes: Soft, moist and deeply flavorful. These are great for breakfast or for dessert warmed up with ice cream on top.
2. Pamela's Pecan Shortbread Cookies: Warm flavors always remind us of fall. These pecan shortbread cookies are great dipped into coffee, as an anytime snack, and bring to mind alllll the fall vibes.
3. Brooklyn Crafted Cinnamon Apple Drink: Iced mulled cider in a bottle? We think yes. Brooklyn Crafted has created a delicious fall beverage that will transport you to the middle of an apple orchard no matter where you are. Find it in our grab and go section!
4. Handcrafted Mugs: There's nothing like pulling out your favorite mug and brewing a hot tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Look out your window and enjoy nature, snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie- we have the perfect mugs to make that moment special. Our selection is immaculate, with locally handmade mugs in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. You can be sure you'll find the perfect one!

Golden Milk

If you haven't hopped on the turmeric train, 2021 is your year and our golden milk is your drink. We make our own blend in house that has deep flavor and a plethora of nutritional benefits. Some benefits of turmeric include being anti inflammatory, full of antioxidants, lowering your risk of heart disease and so much more. We blend the golden milk powder with subtly sweet coconut milk and add some honey for extra flavor. Drinking this feels like a warm hug. It's that good.

Dinner’s On Us

If you know us, you know how much we love to cook for you and make family gatherings possible. You invite your loved ones to the table, and we do the rest. We're about to enter into a hectic time of year: back to school, sports games, holidays, family visits and whatever else is coming up for you. We wanted to remind you that if there ever comes a time where you just can't bring yourself to cook but still want a homemade meal, we will be here. (Aaand we also wanted to take another moment to acknowledge this gorgeous shoot with photographer Joy Leduc.)

Fall Wines

Chris, our sommelier, has pulled a selection of gorgeous fall wines he recommends for the changing seasons. Here's two to get your fall wine collection started:
1. Le Paradou, Cinsault, Languedoc, France: A lifted, energetic, foxy red & damson plum spice. Chill it and kill it.
2. Meinklang, Roter Mulatschak, Austria: Light, chillable, wild and raw. With notes of blackberry, raspberry, and black currant fruit. This one is organic and biodynamic!
