Welcome Back to the Nansletter

As our one year anniversary in this community slowly approaches, we can't help but reflect on how much we have grown. From a burgeoning small business in Massachusetts' apple country to a thriving community and a growing business! We're so excited to be expanding different areas of the business so that we can grow into our full potential. This week, we'll be diving into some fun developments in our beer/wine section, outlining all of the coffee bean brands we now sell and updating y'all on some menu favorites that will be back soon. So, let's dive in!

Sweet Lydia’s Fall Marshmallows

Sweet Lydia's Pumpkin Spice Marshmallows

Okay, hear us out. Fall themed s'mores. Are you listening? We hope so!
Sweet Lydia's is one of our favorite brands to partner with here at Nan's because of the integrity of their work and the creativity that goes into everything they do. This new crop of fall marshmallows is no exception. This photo (posted originally by the Sweet Lydia's Instagram and taken by their team!) just shows ONE of their new flavors. There's also apple cider, sweet potato, and spiced chai! Try the pumpkin spice one with white chocolate in a fall themed s'more. Pop the spiced chai flavor on the next hot latte you want to spice up. Add the sweet potato 'mallows on top of your family's classic sweet potato pie. And a suuuuper fun suggestion- use the apple cider flavored marshmallows as a base for fall flavored rice crispy treats! The possibilities are endless, and these creative flavors surely get our imaginative palette working. Come on in and get inspired!

Featured Menu Items

Grilled Mutsu Apples

Nan's Grilled Mutsu Apples

You know that we had to put our own spin on apple season for y'all to put in your grain or green bowls. Chef Jordan chose the Japanese mutsu apples for this cold side which you can have with your home cooked dinner or on the go lunch (or on their own!). We treat the apples with respect, only adding minimal ingredients to bring out their intrinsic flavor. We used rosemary infused olive oil to add a woodsy flavor to these delicacies, honey, sea salt and cracked black pepper. These are definitely unique but trust us, you won't be able to get enough!

Brussels & Cabbage Slaw

This brussel sprouts/cabbage slaw will come as a fall refresh to our broccoli-kohlrabi slaw of spring and summer. We included some sweet seasonal elements: mutsu apples, cider plumped golden raisins, toasted pumpkin seeds, and grainy mustard. This combined with some traditional Nan's elements: toasted garbanzo beans, honey, lemon and shaved organic green cabbage and brussel sprouts. This slaw is something that attacks your taste buds in the best way possible, grounding you in this autumnal season and complementing every other aspect of the bowl. Let this element shine and pair with our juicy herb brined chicken breast and roasted sweet potatoes- the perfect complements.

Montenidoli Tuscan Wines

Montenidoli Tuscan Wines

Wine spotlight this week: Tuscan winemakers Montenidoli. These bottles will transport you to the sunsoaked hills of Tuscany where the Montenidoli winery sits like a castle on a hill. Nan's is one of the only places you can get wine of this caliber for a reasonable price: try the Montenidoli Toscana IGT Rosso for a red that goes with any grilled or roasted meet and the Vinbrusco Toscana IGT Bianco as a smooth, traditional white.
