Welcome Back to the Nansletter

Wow, we can't believe it. This Thanksgiving marks one year of Nan's being a part of this amazing community. We remember being so nervous yet excited to introduce ourselves to you all via your Thanksgiving tables, and we can't believe how far we've come since then. This newsletter will be an ode to all things Nan's, and most importantly to you all. Without your support, patience and enthusiasm we would not be here today. So, as always, let's dive in!

All Time Favorite Products:

We asked you all for your favorite products, and this is what you said...

-"Cocktail kits. Marshmallows. Cookbooks."
-"Dumpling Daughter"
-Curio Spice!"
-"Tony's Chocolate!"
...and more! We listen to requests- send us a message if you want to see something in the shop.

Kind Goods Nook

One of the highlights of our business is working with local, woman owned businesses. A perfect example of this is Kind Goods Market. Michelle from Kind Goods painstakingly curates artisan, all natural, handmade goods to add a little bit of artistry and beauty to everyday life. We were so obsessed with her store that we wanted to make it part of our store- and the Kind Goods corner is now one of our favorite hidden nooks in the barn. It was just updated for the season, and if you haven't taken the time to peruse it- this is your sign!

The Nan’s Book Corner

One of our favorite sections of the store is the bookshelves. We love perusing the shelves, looking for a book that inspires us to pick it up and dive in. One of our favorite things is educating people about food (and constantly learning about it ourselves). Our office upstairs is filled to the brim with cookbooks and informational guides alike, and we wanted to create a similar experience in the barn for you. We hope this adds to your overall experience with us- we think it's an essential part of our store and are inspired by it daily!

All Time Favorite Menu Items:

The Iconic Chicken Sammie

The one, the only, the fried chicken sandwich that launched a thousand Instagram stories...who knew that this would be a cult favorite menu item? The original plan for Nan's was a country fried chicken shack, so it's very fitting that the fried chicken sammie is the standout star out of our menu of homegrown, chef crafted vegetables and grains. The sammie is the one thing y'all can't get enough of (we can't either) and we're happy to keep serving them up for you day in and day out. Here's to the perfect fried chicken breading, spicy-smokey mayo, and fresh slaw on a delicious brioche bun.

Liquid Sunshine

Our liquid sunshine is life changing. Seriously, if you think you've had the best lemonade in the world- try it. The process and exact recipe is super secret, but what's not a surprise is how much y'all love it. Seriously, during the summer these happy bottles would FLY off the shelves. We understand why! It really lives up to its name- a bright, happy drink that's a perfect any time pick-me-up.

Wine & Beer Section:

Then & Now

When we first opened our doors a year ago, this section of the barn was empty and waiting for our organic and biodynamic wine offerings to come in. It took a while (some thought it would never happen), but this spring we started offering wine and craft beer! Since then, we've started a wine CSA and weekly wine tastings with our resident somm. We're so happy and proud of how far this section of our business has come- and there's still more coming! Shoutout to Chris Keith, our in house sommelier for curating this selection and being the mastermind behind all things wine at Nan's.
